The Demons are Coming to an End

Last winter I kicked off a challenge of drawing 100 demons with ink and brush. Well I'm done and they're being converted to pdf's so that I may create one large image with all of them. From there the image will become a silk screen. Here are some demons that I haven't posted.

New Work

This image is a first from an idea that I have been unable to shake. The decomposition and growth of the fake nature (i.e. plywood, plastic grass) is alluring because of its likeness to the real thing while still bearing the hand of their maker. For example the plastic grass may look somewhat fresh and green at a glance but after a second look it's seams from the plastic mold are apparent.

O the Trees!

Here are some images I've been preparing for a new series of prints. The silk screens will be done on plywood underlayment. I found success with printing on wood when I did so with my previous bug images.

Holiday Cards in the Making

Before I promptly forgot how to silk screen, I decided it would be a good idea to make some prints. I am in the process of making some non-denominational greeting cards for this season. They are very silly. These are the ink drawings from which I will print to acetate and then transfer to a screen.

t-shirt design for a farm

I was asked by a family member to create a t-shirt design for a friend's farm out in Washington. Unfortunately they did not like it. I hope you enjoy it though. In regards to the design, the arm on the back of the shirt would wrap around the front to create a solid band of color.

Almost to 50 Demons

After completing the 100 Demon project I am considering the idea of a large screen print. It would just be a montage of all the ink drawings in one complete image.
